Harry C. Abolt, 89 of Veedersburg Rt 4 died Friday Dec 28, 1973 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He had been a patient since Dec 5 and had been ill 8 years. Born May 15, 1884 near Kramer in Warren Co, he was the son of Samuel and Laura Haas Abolt. He married Wilhelmina Russell Oct 8, 1913 at Renssalaer. She died July 28, 1971. He formerly resided at Tab and Kramer and has been a resident of Stone Bluff 30 years. A graduate of Attica, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church and Fountain County Farm Bureau. Survivors include two sons, Daniel of Veedersburg Rt 4 and Charles of Oak Lawn, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Rayfield of Hammond; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Veedersburg - Harry C. Abolt, 89, of Rt 4, died at 12:50 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette where he was admitted Dec 5. He had been in ill health eight years.  Mr. Abolt, born near Kramer in Warren County, graduated from Attica HS. He farme din the Karmer and Tab areas until he moved here 30 years ago.  In 1913 he was married at Rensselaer to Wilhelmina Russell who died in 1971. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Fountain County Farm Bureau. Surviving are two sons, Daniel of Rt 4, Veedersburg and Charles of Oaklawn, Ill and one daughter, Mrs. Martha Rayfield of Hammond. - kbz

August Huber officiating.  Interment Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death. - kbz
